A story of tradition. Trails and shepherd´s paths.

This programme will initiate in Ermida, one of the last remaining community villages in National Park Peneda-Gerês, where we can find one of the largest goat herd in the park.

We will walk through some of the most iconic places in this area, such as Cascata do Arado, with its crystal clear waters. We will be able to observe the shepherd working with the village´s goat herd in the middle of the mountain, built heritage such as corrals and shepherds´ shelters, diverse vegetation and stunning landscapes.

At the end of the trail, we will return to Ermida village we will learn the traditional art of making Corn Bread - "Broa"
